Grade Foreman

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Grade Foreman to lead grading operations on construction projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can supervise crews while safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment. This role requires strong knowledge of grading, site preparation, and earthwork operations.

Responsibilities:
-Supervise and coordinate grading crews on-site
-Operate heavy machinery, including: Motor Grader, Skid Steer, Roller/Loader, Excavator, and Dozer
-Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and elevations
-Ensure work is completed according to project specifications and schedules
-Maintain a safe job site and enforce safety policies
-Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
-Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, and crew members

Qualifications
-Proven experience as a Grade Foreman or similar leadership role
-Strong operating experience with motor graders, skid steers, rollers/loaders, excavator, and dozers
-Knowledge of GPS grading systems (preferred, not required)
-Ability to lead crews and maintain productivity
-Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures
-Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
