Job Title: In-Home Caregiver for 63-Year-Old Male with Traumatic Brain Injury & Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury (12-Hour Shifts)

We are looking for a compassionate, experienced caregiver to assist a 63-year-old male who has suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and incomplete spinal cord injury. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing daily personal care, supporting mobility, and assisting with therapy exercises, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our client.

Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care: Assist with daily activities such as brushing teeth, bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Mobility Assistance: Aid in moving around in a wheelchair and transferring safely.

Feeding Assistance: Assist with meals as needed, including feeding and managing any dietary requirements.

Therapy Support: Assist with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy exercises (training will be provided).

Safety and Comfort: Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by helping with positioning, transferring, and ensuring overall well-being.

General Assistance: Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a caregiver, CNA, or in a related role is preferred. (Training would be included)

Ability to work independently and follow care plans.

Physically able to assist with lifting, transferring, and positioning.

Reliable, punctual, and compassionate.

Experience or willingness to assist with therapy exercises (training available).

Background check required.
