Head of Security – Military / Combat Experience Required

World Craft Expo (WorldCraftExpo.com) is building a permanent, high-profile international facility in Huntington, NY, and needs one person to take full command of security operations from the ground up. This is a leadership role for someone who has operated under real-world conditions and understands responsibility, chain of command, and accountability.

We are seeking a Head of Security to take full ownership of safety, risk management, and security operations from day one.

REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE):

- Military background required
- Verified combat or operational deployment experience strongly preferred
- Proven discipline, leadership, and sound judgment under pressure
- Must reside within reasonable driving distance of Huntington, NY
- Ability to work with civilian staff, families, diplomats, and government officials
- Clean record; licensing as required by NYS

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and implement a museum-grade security operation (not tactical theater)
- Oversee access control, screening protocols, CCTV, and emergency response
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and external agencies when required
- Hire, train, and manage security personnel
- Develop SOPs, incident protocols, and risk assessments
- Scale security operations as WCE expands and hosts high-level delegations
