Experienced Caregiver with ASL sign needed at basic level

Join an 8 person team as a fellow caregiver. Looking for healthy active individual who enjoys being part of a team. Training is provided and continues actively for up to 3 months. At age 28, the client is unable to speak and is talk deaf. Support for learning and practicing ASL is provided. Being his partner involves partial to full support for personal care such as feeding, toileting and bathing. Even though the client had a stroke before birth that affects his upper body skills, he is active and lively and able to walk, run, get up and down. He prefers observing and opportunities like walks and car rides. He is personable. Training provided in seizure management. A reliable car is necessary as he enjoys outings in the community. This position is best suited for someone that is experienced in caring for developmentally disabled individuals or is a natural fit into our team - we are a fun and diverse group. Pay will reflect level of independence with the responsibilities. Background check required. The available shift is on Fridays 8am - 6pm.
