Position: Transfer Station Scale Weighmaster

Pay Rate: $19.00–$21.00 per hour

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM

Job Description:
We are hiring a Transfer Station Scale Weighmaster for a fast-paced, customer-facing role. This position handles cash transactions and operates the main scale upon entry. Punctuality, dependability, and honesty are critical, as delays can cause truck backups and halt operations. This is a rain-or-shine position. If SVPS is open, the transfer station scale is also open.

All prospective associates must have already passed a background check. Training will be provided onsite.

Requirements:

Bilingual (required)

Ability to handle cash with accuracy, confidence, and competence

Basic computer skills; must be able to navigate screens within a POS system

Previous cashier experience is a plus

Ability to perform basic math and use a 10-key calculator

Positive, friendly attitude; this role represents the face of SVPS

Comfortable working with truck drivers in an industrial environment

Work Availability:
This is a five-day-per-week position. Associates must be available to work most Saturdays with one weekday off, as required by operations.
