Job description
Jarvis International Freight LLC is a "fast-n-steady-growing" international freight forwarder NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) based in South San Francisco, CA. We are a professional, innovative, agile, customer-centric company in a modern office atmosphere with growth opportunities. We are seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Support. This position will be responsible for promoting and selling our freight services to current and potential clients, identify new business segments, target new business for the company and establish relationships with new customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and maintain successful relationships with current and potential customers
- Construct, initiate, maintain, and update contract rates for clients and services on a regular basis
- Regularly contact potential and current customers to maintain and increase volume or market share
- Work closely with Operation team and overseas agents to develop a collaborative relationship to ensure customers satisfaction
- Coordinates with the Accounts Receivable Department to ensure that customer payments are received.
- Analyze sales and profits to generate strategic actions
- Develop relationships with customers and generate new business with management.
- Present different portfolio of services: Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Cargo Insurance, Customs Bond, etc.
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, social media platforms, and or telemarketing calls
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven ability to work autonomously and self-starter
- Maintain solid working relationships with both clients and staff
- Good organizational skills, as this position requires working with multiple departments and following up with clients and prospects.
- Utilize internal CRM system to create sales quotations and rate proposals to prospective clients.
- Bilingual or multilingual is a plus
EXPERIENCE:
- Prior sales/marketing experience is a plus
- Previous international logistics/transportation experience is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
