Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Parts Manager to oversee inventory, procurement, and distribution of aircraft parts for our aviation manufacturing operation. This role is critical to ensuring production continuity, regulatory compliance, and efficient supply chain operations in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage inventory of aircraft parts, components, and materials to support manufacturing and production schedules
• Oversee purchasing, receiving, storage, and issuance of parts in compliance with aviation standards
• Ensure full compliance with FAA/EASA regulations, traceability, and documentation requirements
• Coordinate with production, engineering, quality, and suppliers to resolve part shortages or discrepancies
• Maintain accurate inventory records, forecasts, and reorder points
• Evaluate and manage vendor performance, pricing, and lead times
• Prepare reports on inventory levels, usage trends, and cost control
• Support audits and inspections related to parts and materials management
Required Qualifications
• Proven experience in parts, inventory, or materials management within aviation field
• Knowledge of FAA regulations, traceability, and airworthiness documentation
• Experience with inventory management software
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance
Preferred Qualifications
• A&P certificate or aviation-related technical background
• Experience with AS9100 or ISO quality systems
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Familiarity with domestic and international aviation suppliers
