Security Technician – Vivint

Earn $40,000–$100,000+ installing smart security systems for homes and businesses. No experience required—we train the right people.

Vivint is hiring Security Technicians to install and service cutting-edge smart home and commercial security systems. If you like working in the field, solving problems, and getting paid for performance, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

Install Vivint security and camera systems in mostly residential homes.
Drive to customer sites and work independently in the field
Educate customers on how to use their security systems
Troubleshoot and ensure systems are fully operational
Represent Vivint with professionalism and strong customer service
Schedule & Location

On-call between 10:00 AM – 9:30 PM
On-site / travel-based role (field work required)
Must be willing to travel. Our team works mainly in CA, but have work in almost all states. Travel is paid for, and accomodations are provided.
Must be willing to temporarily relocate April 15th - Aug 31st
What We’re Looking For

Entry-level candidates welcome (training provided)
Comfortable working on your feet and in different environments
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Strong work ethic and reliability
Customer-focused mindset
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings
Must be able to pass a background test and drug test
