Lead Sign Installer – Tucson, AZ (Full Time)

A growing commercial sign company in Tucson is seeking an experienced lead sign Installer with at least 2 years of hands‐on installation experience. This is a full‐time, year‐round field position installing a variety of interior and exterior signs.


About the role

Install wall signs, channel letters, monuments, pylons, vinyl graphics, and interior signage
Perform service work: sign removals, retrofits, basic troubleshooting, and repairs
Read and follow shop drawings, permits, and site plans
Safely operate ladders, lifts, bucket trucks, and power tools on active job sites
Work as part of a small crew to complete jobs on schedule and to quality standards


Minimum requirements

2+ years of sign installation or closely related field installation experience
Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record
Reliable transportation to our Tucson shop each day
Ability to work at heights, including ladders and aerial lifts
Able to lift 75 pounds and work outdoors in Arizona weather
Solid basic construction/hand‐tool skills (drilling, fastening, measuring, leveling)
Ability to read a tape measure, follow drawings, and complete basic paperwork
Strong safety mindset and willingness to follow company safety procedures
Professional appearance and communication with customers, GCs, and inspectors


Preferred qualifications

Experience installing channel letters, raceways, and monument/pylon signs
Experience operating boom/bucket trucks, scissor lifts, or forklifts
Electrical/sign lighting experience (LED/fluorescent) is a plus
Basic knowledge of local sign codes and permitting is a plus
OSHA 10 or other safety certifications are a plus


Work schedule and compensation

$28-35 per hour depending on experience
Full‐time, generally Monday–Friday, with occasional early starts or overtime as needed
Eligible for overtime
