CANTONESE/MANDARIN Req - Front Office Manager / MA (Private Clinic)

** Written and verbal fluency in English AND verbal fluency in either Cantonese (preferred) or Mandarin is required for this role due to the frequent communication to English- and Cantonese/Mandarin-speaking patients

Job Overview -----

We’re hiring a hands-on Office Manager to help launch and run a small primary care clinic. This is a startup-style role working directly with an experienced physician to build systems, manage daily operations, and shape the patient experience from day one.

What You’ll Do -----

- Run day-to-day clinic operations
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist patients
- Manage front desk, room patients, and support basic clinical workflow
- Oversee billing, insurance, and basic bookkeeping
- Create and improve office processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Coordinate vendors, supplies, and compliance (HIPAA)

What We’re Looking For -----

- Work experience where you have demonstrated a strong work ethic is top priority. Experience in a medical office or office manager role is a plus; strong preference for CMA certification or nursing degree
- Strong patient-facing and phone communication skills
- Organized, proactive, thorough, and able to work independently
- Comfortable building systems from scratch in a small practice
- Cantonese and/or Mandarin fluency is required
- Able to work full-time, 5 days in-person in the clinic located in Elk Grove, CA

This position will be salaried, full-time, and in-person. Expected hours per week are 40, but could fluctuate between 35-50 hours depending on the workload.
