Job Description: Event Logistics Specialist (Part-Time)
1099 contract role

The Role: Finance company is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Event Logistics Specialist to manage the physical presence of our brand at local industry events. This is a vital "behind-the-scenes" role that ensures our team is set up for success before the first guest arrives.

Key Responsibilities:
-Gear Transport: Pick up event materials (Folding table, branded tablecloths, banners, promo gear, and displays) from our La Jolla office.
-Split shift: Booth Setup: Arrive at event venues 60 minutes early to execute a clean, professional booth setup according to company standards.
-Split shift: Breakdown & Return: Return to the venue at the event’s conclusion to pack up gear and return it to the office (same night or following morning).
-Inventory Care: Ensure all promotional materials are handled with care and report when supplies (flyers, swag) are running low.
Requirements:
-Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
-Ability to lift up to 40 lbs for booth materials.
-Punctuality is non-negotiable; you are the first point of contact for our event presence.
-Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor and attire. We will provide a logo company shirt to wear.
-High Trust & Integrity: This is a high-trust position. The candidate will have independent access to our corporate office and valuable company property.
-Background Standards: Must be willing to undergo a comprehensive background check; a clean criminal record is required for this role.

*only serious applicants apply. This is a very part time position and the event dates are planned in advance and are mostly during the week. Possibility of weekends, but mostly weekday. Events typically start around 5 or 6pm so set up would start by 4-5pm. Events are typically 2-4 hours so returning for pick up would be somewhere between 8-10pm. On average there will be 1-3 events per month. Events are in the San Diego area.
