Part-Time, 12-20 hours per week, weekday mornings required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively engage customers on the sales floor to understand their needs and recommend products that align with their lifestyle, values, and goals. Confidently educate customers on product benefits, ingredients, sourcing, packaging, and supplements to support informed purchasing decisions.
Drive sales through suggestive selling, product bundling, and thoughtful recommendations. Support the achievement of daily and monthly sales goals, including VIP membership sign-ups.
Provide a high-touch experience in the refill section by assisting customers with weighing containers and filling products accurately while minimizing waste and spillover.
Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including purchases, gift cards, promotions, returns, and exchanges in accordance with store policies.
Maintain a clean, well-merchandised, and inviting store environment by restocking shelves, refilling bulk items, and completing daily cleaning checklists.
Prepare and fulfill ecommerce orders accurately and on time.
Assist with special events, workshops, and after-hours programming as needed, including setup, customer engagement, and breakdown.
Support the Shop Lead with operational tasks such as inventory management, receiving and stocking merchandise, and applying pricing labels.
Other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
A passion for sustainability and package free products is a must!
A proven track record in sales, ability to engage with customers, educate and guide purchasing decisions. This is a sales-forward role.
Ability to work a consistent weekly schedule of 10-15 hours per week, on weekend day is often required.
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
Self-starter who proactively seeks solutions and works independently.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task on various projects simultaneously.
Prior retail, hospitality, or customer-facing sales experience preferred, with an emphasis on consultative or specialty retail.
Comfortable working with a POS System, Shopify experience a plus.
Familiarity with inventory procedures.
High school degree; BS degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus.
Additional compensation is available to those with social media skills and experience and willing to support Mission Refills social channels.
