Job Description:
Ojai Valley Ranch Market is seeking an experienced and motivated Produce Manager to oversee our produce department. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of freshness, presentation, and customer service while managing inventory and staff.

Responsibilities:

Order, receive, and inspect produce for quality and freshness

Maintain attractive displays and proper rotation (FIFO)

Manage inventory, shrink, and department cleanliness

Supervise and train produce staff

Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met

Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge

Qualifications:

Previous produce or grocery management experience preferred

Knowledge of fresh fruits and vegetables

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
