Our team of Store Clerks coordinates the daily business of our local branch. Customers shop in our store and our Clerks are responsible for greeting them, completing sales transactions, keeping the store clean and managing inventory. The ideal candidate will be mature, responsible, organized and friendly. A successful Store Clerk will demonstrate a commitment to providing an excellent experience for our customers as well as a passion for working in a team-oriented environment.

Sales Clerk Responsibilities:

Sweep floors and vacuum.
Stock shelves with merchandise.
Use a computer to check items in or out.
Answer customers' questions about products, service, or store information.
Organize merchandise according to certain criteria.
Answer the phone, ask customers questions about products, take orders, and make sales.
Clean windows and dust surfaces.
Assist customers with purchases and returns.
Take inventory by hand.
Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills
Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers
Experience in retail sales and stocking merchandise
Basic math skills and familiarity with retail math
Knowledge of POS systems and phone etiquette
Supervisory experience and bilingual abilities are a plus
