Retired Part-time Accountant - CPA - Tax Preparer

We are seeking experienced Retired CPAs, Enrolled Agents, and Tax Preparers to join our team in providing expert tax and accounting services. This role offers an opportunity for professionals with a strong background in tax preparation, accounting, and financial analysis to leverage their expertise in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of tax laws, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance, ensuring accurate and efficient service delivery to our clients.

Salary is dependent on experience. Multiple locations will be available as we continue to grow. Boca Raton and Coral Springs are now available with more locations soon to come!

Responsibilities

Prepare and review individual, business, and estate tax returns with accuracy and compliance with current tax laws.
Assist clients with estate planning strategies, wills, trusts, and estate law considerations.
Conduct detailed financial analysis including balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and financial statement preparation
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, ProSeries, and other financial software tools for bookkeeping, general ledger reconciliation, and accounts payable management.
Maintain thorough documentation of all work performed for audit readiness and client records.
Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with tax laws, accounting standards, and industry best practices.
Extensive knowledge of tax experience including tax planning, preparation, and compliance.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for account reconciliation and financial statement interpretation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
Effective communication skills for clear report writing and client interactions.
