Armed Security Officer

We are seeking a professional Armed Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for people, property, and operations. The ideal candidate is observant, dependable, and capable of responding appropriately to routine and emergency situations. This role requires a visible security presence, sound judgment, and the ability to act calmly under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas to identify safety concerns, security risks, or suspicious activity
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized or unsafe behavior
• Monitor surveillance systems and report irregularities or incidents
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies in accordance with established procedures
• Enforce site security policies, access control measures, and safety protocols
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and activity logs
• Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders when required
• De-escalate conflicts professionally and manage challenging situations calmly
• Perform inspections or searches as required, in compliance with legal and safety standards
Minimum Requirements
• Valid Level 3 Security License (or equivalent, as required by local/state regulations)
• Armed security experience
• Must provide own duty weapon
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Strong situational awareness and communication skills
• Ability to remain composed and professional in high-stress situations
• Physical ability to perform patrols and respond quickly when necessary
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior hospital or healthcare security experience
• Experience working in environments with high public interaction
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
