We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Crew Lead to manage operations, lead a small team, and deliver exceptional service to homeowners.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Lead the Crew: Supervise a 2-4 person crew, directing daily workflow, setting up jobs, and ensuring productivity and high-quality workmanship.
Insulation & Cleaning: Perform and oversee the removal of old/contaminated insulation, sanitize attics, air seal, and install new insulation both loose fill and Batting
Safety & Compliance: Enforce all safety protocols, including OSHA standards, and ensure the crew uses proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Client Communication: Act as the primary on-site contact for homeowners, explaining the project, answering questions, and conducting final walkthroughs to ensure satisfaction.
Equipment & Logistics: Safely operate insulation machines, vacuums, and company vehicles. Manage materials to avoid waste.
Documentation: Complete daily job paperwork, including before/after photos and material usage logs.
What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience in attic insulation, removal, or home energy performance.
Leadership: Proven experience leading a crew or acting as a foreman in construction or trade services.
Physical Stamina: Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift heavy materials (up to 50-75 lbs) regularly.
Comfort Level: Willingness to work in attics/crawl spaces in varied temperatures (hot/cold).
License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
