Journeyman Commercial Plumber - Prevailing Wage

**Journeyman Commercial Plumber (Full-Time) – Steady Work – San Diego County**

**Job Location:** San Diego County (military bases / public works / commercial projects)

We are a well-established commercial plumbing contractor based in San Diego County. We’re looking for a reliable, skilled Journeyman Commercial Plumber to join our team.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Commercial plumbing installation and repair
* Rough-in / underground / above-ground piping
* Water, gas, hydronic piping, waste & vent systems (DWV)
* Installing fixtures, carriers, valves, backflow, pumps, etc.
* Installing chillers, boilers, water heaters and mechanical piping.
* Reading prints and laying out work
* Working on active job sites (schools, public works, military facilities, commercial buildings)
* Coordinating with foreman / superintendent / other trades
* Keeping work clean, safe, and professional

Requirements

* Journeyman-level commercial plumbing experience
* Strong knowledge of code and best practices
* Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
* Must have own tools
* Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
* Able to pass background screening (many projects are government/military)
* Professional attitude, dependable, and punctual

Preferred

* Experience on NAVFAC / USACE / government projects
* OSHA 10 (or willing to get it)
* Underground / wet utility experience
* Leadership ability (foreman potential)
