Mechanic / Class A

Ready-Mix & Rental Equipment is seeking a multifaceted professional to become part of our small team in a distinctive hybrid position.

THE ROLE:

· Heavy Equipment Mechanic: Responsible for maintaining and repairing our varied fleet, which includes everything from diesel engines to small tools.

· Low-Boy Driver: Tasked with the safe transportation and delivery of heavy machinery throughout Sitka.

· Rental Counter: Provide assistance to customers with equipment rentals and offer expert recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Demonstrated experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician.

· A valid Class A CDL with an impeccable driving record.

· Excellent customer service skills and a proactive attitude.

· Residing in (or willing to move to) Sitka, AK.

COMPENSATION:

· $35.00 – $45.00 per hour, depending on experience.
