Warehouse worker

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics and distribution team. Responsibilities

Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment utilizing RF scanners and order picker equipment
Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting and data entry in warehouse management systems such as AS400
Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, and pallet jacks following OSHA safety guidelines
Stock shelves and organize warehouse storage areas efficiently for optimal space utilization
Assist with shipping & receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch of goods
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting routine equipment inspections
Support warehouse distribution activities including load & unload operations and order fulfillment tasks
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to improve workflow efficiency and inventory accuracy

Skills
Proven experience with inventory management, stock control, and warehouse distribution processes
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) including AS400 or similar platforms
Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment and packaging machinery
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in compliance with OSHA standards
Experience with order picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and materials handling techniques
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and order accuracy
Knowledge of safety regulations related to warehouse operations (OSHA compliance)
