SITE SUPERINTENDENT – HIGH-END RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION
SF BAY AREA

CMA Development is a boutique, architecturally driven general contractor based in San Francisco, focused on high-end residential remodels and additions. We work closely with architects and designers and place a premium on planning, quality, and predictability.

With multiple new project starts in the first half of 2026, we are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead day-to-day jobsite operations across multiple active projects. This is a planning-first role focused on scheduling, trade coordination, logistics, and decision-making. This position is intended for someone already operating at a superintendent level.

This is not a lead carpenter / foreman position. Hands-on work may occur occasionally, but success in this role is measured by foresight, sequencing, communication, and jobsite control.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Owning day-to-day jobsite operations across multiple active residential projects
• Originating and building project schedules in JobTread (our Pm software)
• Creating and maintaining look-ahead schedules and construction sequencing
• Laying out subcontractors and coordinating production trades and in-house crews
• Managing subcontractor manpower, timing, and scope alignment
• Managing delivery of key materials, site logistics, access, and staging
• Proactively managing neighbor communication around access, noise, and deliveries
• Maintaining accurate jobsite documentation, logs, and progress photos
• Communicating clearly with owners, architects, inspectors, and trade partners
• Running organized, safe, and predictable jobsites

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years experience as a Site Superintendent on high-end residential projects
• Strong mastery of construction sequencing and field coordination
• Comfortable managing multiple active projects concurrently
• Experience working in construction software or the aptitude to quickly learn and operate within new systems
• Comfortable working daily in tools such as JobTread, Slack, CompanyCam, and Google Drive
• Calm, organized, and solutions-oriented leadership style
• Valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation
