What it takes:
-1-2 years of relevant experience is required
-High-volume experience is a preferred

-Qualifications and Requirements:
-Candidates must possess proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin, as well as English, in both verbal and written forms, to connect with our diverse clientele
-Prior experience in the restaurant industry is a plus, but we welcome those eager to learn
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
-Availability to work evenings, weekends, and during the Lunar New Year
-Strong professional references are essential

Bussers:

Position Qualifications for Bussers:

Chefs & Cooks:
Our bustling Szechuan-Cantonese restaurant seeks a chef with relevant experience, ready to embrace culinary challenges. Candidates should be eager to learn and share knowledge with a positive mindset. Responsibilities include adhering to health department standards, showcasing culinary talent, and crafting seasonal dishes and specials.

Position Qualifications for Chefs & Cooks:
- Prepare and cook menu items to restaurant standards
- Maintain food stock levels on the line
- Participate in food preparation and portioning before service
- Uphold a clean and sanitary work environment
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of culinary methods and ingredients
- Lift 20-40 lbs and stand for prolonged periods

Dishwasher:
A dishwasher role is available starting in January. This full—and part-time position involves manual and machine dishwashing and essential kitchen support. The hours of operation run from Wednesday through Monday. Compensation based on experience. Weekend availability is required.

Position Qualifications for Dishwashers:
- Positive attitude 
- Able to work in a busy environment
- Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs
- Store away food purveyor deliveries
- Punctuality and reliability

Host:
We seek full and part-time hosts who can represent our restaurant and make a great first impression on our guests. The host will be responsible for maintaining the flow of service and the waitlist. Hosts should be able to give customers an accurate estimate of wait time to maximize venue space without overwhelming bartenders and servers. They should have excellent communication skills and a stellar attitude.

Position Qualification for Hosts
-Professional and polished demeanor and look
-Must be able to work nights and weekends
-Must have at least 2 years of experience in hospitality and customer service
-Interest in hospitality
-Experience with Resy reservation systems
-Fluent in Cantonese and English
-Takes initiative
-Excellent communication
-Takes direction well and is willing to go above and beyond for the job and your co-workers
-Maintain composure and patience with all guests

Servers:
Servers are responsible for directly servicing assigned tables while assisting with Runner and Busser functions. Servers are responsible for taking food and beverage orders while providing personalized, exemplary service for their assigned tables.

Position Qualifications for Servers:
-Experience in Chinese food, but willingness to learn dishes a plus
-Knowledge of Wines, Sake, and Liquors, as well as basic cocktails, is required
-Strong knowledge of dinner and lunch service 
-The ideal candidate must be able to navigate through a section of 3-5 tables or more and provide excellent service while keeping a composed and positive attitude
-The candidate must also be able to carry up to 20 pounds at times, stay on his/her/they feet for an extended period
-The ideal candidate must have an impeccable demeanor, be punctual, clean, reliable, and a solid team player
