Lead Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Mitigation Technician to join our restoration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water and fire damage restoration, mold remediation, and general construction. This leadership role involves overseeing mitigation projects, ensuring quality work, and guiding team members through complex restoration processes. Candidates with industry experience in restoration, and proficiency with hand and power tools are highly preferred. Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate mitigation projects involving water damage, fire restoration, mold remediation, content restoration and reconstruction.
Perform cleaning, demolition, and restoration tasks using hand tools and power tools
Oversee the use of specialized equipment for moisture extraction, mold removal, and debris cleanup
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations
Train and mentor team members on proper mitigation techniques and safety procedures
Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure project progress and quality standards are met
Assist in the setup of construction sites as needed for restoration projects
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used
Skills
Proven experience in the restoration industry, including water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, and reconstruction
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques related to property mitigation
Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for various restoration tasks
Ability to operate specialized equipment for moisture extraction, mold removal, and debris disposal
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively
Good understanding of safety protocols within the restoration industry
Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members
Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and prioritize tasks efficiently
