***Brunch Cook Needed at Gossip Grill***

Gossip Grill is San Diego’s premier women’s bar and restaurant, proudly serving the LGBTQ+ community and allies. Known for our high-volume brunches, lively dinners, and late-night crowd, we’re a fast-paced kitchen looking for an experienced brunch cook with a strong work ethic, initiative, and respect for our inclusive environment.

RESUME SUBMITION IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.

Job Title: Brunch Cook

Schedule: Part-time (weekends and holidays required)

Compensation: $23.50 per hour, review after 6 months, raise based on performance

Benefits: Paid sick time, vacation accrual, and employee meal discounts

Location: Hillcrest, San Diego, CA

Job Responsibilities:
Execute dishes on both the brunch and dinner menus with speed, accuracy, and consistency
Handle prep work and maintain kitchen organization
Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal supervision
Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards
Collaborate with the kitchen team while maintaining professionalism and respect

Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year line cook experience
Minimum 3 years brunch experience in a high-volume setting
Solid prep and knife skills Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to self-manage
