Server – Osso Steakhouse (San Francisco)
Osso Steakhouse is seeking experienced, hospitality-driven Servers to join our front-of-house team. We are a high-end, classic steakhouse located in the heart of San Francisco, known for elevated service, premium products, and a professional dining environment.
Position Summary
Servers are responsible for delivering warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. This role requires strong menu and wine knowledge, polished guest interaction, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume fine-dining setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide professional, attentive table service from greeting through farewell
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and daily specials
• Confidently guide guests through wine selections and pairings
• Accurately take and enter orders using POS systems
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned stations
• Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards
• Support team members and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace
Qualifications
• Prior serving experience required; fine-dining or steakhouse experience strongly preferred
• Strong wine knowledge is required (varietals, regions, pairings, and service standards)
• Strong communication and guest-service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a high-energy environment
• Full availability required Thursday through Monday
• Nights, weekends, and holidays required
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Compensation
• Hourly rate in accordance with San Francisco minimum wage laws
• Plus tips
