Part-Time Administrative Assistant (Seasonal Flex Schedule)
We are a small, close-knit professional services firm that prides itself on a family-friendly work environment and a supportive team culture. We place a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships with our clients. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys helping others, communicating clearly, and being a dependable point of contact for clients.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team, with expanded hours during tax season and a reduced, part-time schedule during the off-season. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor with clients.
This is an in-office position, and all work must be performed onsite during scheduled hours.
Schedule Expectations
Busy season (approximately February through April 15):
-Increased hours to support seasonal workload
-Availability during normal business hours required
Off-season (mid-April through January):
-Part-time schedule
-Approximately 3 to 6 hours per day, 4 days per week (we can be flexible)
-Office closed on Fridays
Key Responsibilities
• Answer phones and greet clients professionally
• Manage scheduling, calendars, and client communications
• Assist with onboarding new clients and maintaining client records
• Prepare, organize, and process documents and correspondence
• Support billing, payments, and administrative workflows
• Coordinate with internal team members to ensure timely follow-up
• General office support and organization
Qualifications
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Professional demeanor and client-focused mindset
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable with technology and cloud-based systems
• Prior administrative or office experience preferred
• Ability to scale hours up and down seasonally is required
