TRAVELLING Mechanical Laborer - Americas & Caribbean

Currier TK, a Rockledge based Company, continues to grow and is seeking a full-time TRAVELLING Mechanical Laborer to be an integral part of our talented team. We are looking for a driven individual with experience around pipe, equipment & assembly of systems. The ideal candidate would travel with experienced mechanical crews and work towards future roles like pipefitter, or even welder. Currier TK is a specialty Mechanical contractor working at airports/bases throughout the Americas & the Caribbean. If you have always wanted to travel, here is a great way to get paid to do it. Responsibilities
• Reading blueprints and drawings, translating that to reality
• Setting up any equipment or machinery required to complete project
• Assembly of pipe, equipment, and mechanical systems
• Maintain use of any necessary Personal Protective Equipment
• Maintain equipment in a proper and safe manner
• Lifting 50+ pounds from time to time and regularly 15+
• Travel 80%+

Qualifications
• At least 2 years’ experience in Mechanical system assembly, or similar experience
• Experience using a variety of power tools and electrical tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
• Ability to take direction and then perform tasks with attention to detail
• Because all of our work is in secure facilities – you must be able to pass a criminal background check
