Product Development Coordinator (Part-Time, Onsite)

Miss Jones Baking Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Product Development Coordinator to support our fast-paced R&D team. This hands-on, onsite role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys working with physical samples, and wants exposure to consumer-packaged goods (CPG) product development.

Locations: San Francisco and Emeryville, CA.
Pay: $30–35/hour
Schedule: Part-time, up to 5 days/week (~6 hours/day), afternoon availability as needed
FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt (not benefits-eligible)

What You’ll Do
• Organize, label, track, and archive product and packaging samples
• Prepare, pack, ship, and transport samples between offices and shipping carriers
• Support product development through data entry, file management, and general coordination
What We’re Looking For
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfortable visually evaluating products (color, shade, aesthetics)
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, Slack, and Dropbox
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (driving is essential)
• Ability to work onsite for up to 5 days/week with occasional afternoon hours
Nice to Have
• Experience in CPG, product development, or operations
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or similar tools
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
• Comfortable working in a test-kitchen environment and evaluating products as needed
