Job Description
Well-established global publishing/licensing company in the learning and development space seeks a part-time Accounting and Office personnel having a B.A. degree in a related area and 2-3 years minimum of hands-on accounting and office experience, preferably in an international business.
Primary responsibilities:
Company’s overall accounting operation, including A/P, A/R, and cash management.
Verify and post transactions to journals and other records.
Handle client relationships and resolve clients’ billing questions.
Calculate and report royalty payments to program authors and/or business partners.
Act as company contact to vendors and agents.
Supply administrative support services for HR/Accounting, Sales, and management.
Proactive in managing expenses.
Requirement:
B.A. degree in Accounting/Finance or related area. 2-3 years of accounting experience with international consulting or professional service firms preferred.
Excellent quantitative and computer skills. Good understanding of foreign exchange accounting and foreign taxation is a big plus.
Has track record of taking initiatives, working autonomously and being able to multi-task effectively. Attention to detail with a focus on quality.
Good communication skills.
Starting date can be immediate. Orientation training is provided to ensure effective performance on a variety of tasks. This is a part-time exempt position. Pay range will depend upon experience level.
