GIS Developer

GIS Developer – QGIS / Python / Web GIS
We are looking for an experienced GIS Developer to join our team supporting enterprise GIS systems and spatial applications. This role focuses on QGIS, automation, web GIS, and spatial data management.

What You’ll Do:
Develop and maintain GIS applications and spatial databases using QGIS
Build and support web GIS apps, dashboards, and spatial workflows
Automate processes using Python and GIS APIs
Develop REST API connections and web mapping tools
Support spatial data flow, QA, and database administration
Partner with business and technical teams on GIS solutions
What We’re Looking For:

Strong experience with QGIS and open-source GIS platforms
Proficient in Python (automation, APIs, data processing)
Web GIS experience: JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Leaflet
Experience with REST services and API integrations
Comfortable with data QA, validation, and migrations
Familiar with version control and development workflows

Nice to Have:
Experience with spatial databases (PostGIS, MySQL, etc.)
Background in enterprise, utilities, or security environments
