Steel Fabrication Shop is seeking a qualified and experienced Field Welder / Steel Erector/Field Foremen with strong work ethic to join our team. This position is ideal for a well-rounded professional with a solid background in structural and miscellaneous steel installation who can work independently or as part of a team.
As a job shop, we perform a wide range of projects, including:
Structural steel
Stairs, handrails, and guardrails
Gates and custom metalwork
Sheet metal
Industrial and millwright work
Responsibilities:
Perform welding, fabrication, and steel erection in the field
Read and interpret drawings and specifications
Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, and customers
Enforce company policies, job site procedures, and OSHA safety regulations
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and lead by example
Requirements:
Valid, non-restricted driver’s license (required)
5–7 years of experience in the steel or iron working industry
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to read drawings and fabricate in the field
Must be able to obtain welding certifications
Own hand tools and reliable transportation
Fluent in English
