Custom Picture Framer

This position is for a skilled individual who’s had at least 3-5 years of full time picture framing experience. This position will cover frame cutting and joining, with various other duties required for the job at hand. While offering a relaxed professional environment to work in, we strive to achieve the best in quality, world class design and presentation of our clients’ artwork.

Job Duties/Requirements:
• At least 3-5 years picture framing experience
• Cut & join wood picture frames using double miter saw, vises and an under-pinner, V-Nailer
• Ability to work as a team
• Ability to quickly learn new skills and techniques
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Installation & Delivery. Including Valuable, Large, Fragile or Antique Artworks and Picture Frames
• Receive shipments of inventory into the warehouse.
• May be required to drive the forklift.
• Shipping duties such as wrapping artwork, packaging in boxes, and generating shipping labels.
• Pull stock for orders.
• Stretch canvases on stretcher bars.
• Precisely cut glass, acrylic, and tempered hardboard using motorized wall saw and multi- material cutter.
What do I need?
The job can be physically demanding and you will stand on your feet for prolonged periods of time. You will often work with power tools and heavy materials. You must be able to lift 50lbs and execute proper kneel and crouch lifting methods.
