Contruction cleaning estimator

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Cleaning Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating construction and post-construction cleaning projects, preparing accurate cost estimates, and actively bidding on jobs to secure contracts for the company. This role plays a key part in business growth by identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and converting bids into awarded projects.

Responsibilities:

Review construction plans, blueprints, and project specifications to determine cleaning scope and requirements

Conduct site visits to assess project conditions, timelines, and labor needs

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, proposals, and bids

Submit competitive bids and follow up with clients, general contractors, and developers

Negotiate pricing and contract terms to win projects while maintaining profitability

Communicate with operations teams to ensure estimates align with execution capabilities

Track bid outcomes and maintain records of awarded and lost projects

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project managers

Stay informed on market pricing, labor costs, and industry trends

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience as a construction cleaning estimator or similar estimating role

Strong understanding of construction and post-construction cleaning processes

Demonstrated ability to bid on projects and successfully secure contracts

Experience working with general contractors, builders, and property managers

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills

Proficiency in estimating software, spreadsheets, and proposal preparation

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed

Preferred Skills:

Sales or business development experience

Knowledge of safety standards and cleaning regulations

Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
