Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant

N.J. Shaum and Son, Inc. Electrical Contractors (NJS) has been providing quality electrical products and services to Northern Arizona since 1941. We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant to join our team.

The Warehouse Assistant is an important part of the NJS team and provides critical support to multiple job sites as well as the main office. The Warehouse Assistant reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and assists with the organization of the warehouse and the equipment yard, vehicle fleet, and company tools. helping to load and prep material for various construction jobs and keep business organized and then follow instructions/directions to deliver the correct material/paperwork to multiple jobsites around northern Arizona. May require occasional overnight travel depending on project needs/timeframes.
This position can be physically demanding at times.

Job Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Clean and maintain the warehouse and yard
- Be alert for safety concerns and address them in a timely manner
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with
o Material deliveries
o Tool and equipment inventory
o Delivery and return material from jobs
- Work at heights and in limited spaces
- Lift up to 50 lbs. and move up to 75 lbs.
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Must have a valid drivers’ license with clean driving record. CDL would be a plus!
- Forklift operation required – will train if not experienced


Qualifications:

- Punctual and Reliable
- Organized able to keep material/paperwork organized and on track for delivery to multiple jobsites.
- Attention to detail and able to prioritize and follow instructions
- Relevant experience preferred
- General mechanic knowledge a plus

Pay range from $18.35 to $23.00 per hour DOE and benefits package for eligible employees include health and dental insurance, paid sick time, paid holidays, and a 401K/Profit Sharing program with employer matching.
