Assistant Manager-Fast Paced Casual Restaurant

We’re looking for an experienced, energetic, and people focused Assistant Manager to join our team at our extremely busy, fast paced restaurant featuring over the counter service, a full espresso bar, a fresh juice bar, and a growing cocktail program. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high volume environments and knows how to lead with confidence, clarity, and positivity. We’ve been proudly serving our community for over 20 years and have a strong base of loyal, regular customers who expect consistency, warmth, and great service.
What You’ll Do

Support daily operations across restaurant service, espresso bar, juice bar, and cocktail offerings
Lead and motivate a team with professionalism and consistency
Maintain exceptional customer service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere
Oversee bar flow, product quality, cleanliness, and safety standards
Train new team members and reinforce best practices
Handle inventory, restocking, and ordering
A very hands-on type of work.
Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and real time problem solving during rushes
Maintain accuracy in cash handling and POS operations
Requirements

3+ years of experience managing people in hospitality, restaurant, café, juice bar, or quick service environments
3rd wave barista experience with strong knowledge of espresso, extraction, and quality standards
Knowledge of food safety standards and ability to uphold them consistently
Experience with scheduling and basic administrative tasks
Ability to work extremely well under pressure in a fast moving, high volume setting
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized during peak rushes
High attention to detail—quality, cleanliness, and consistency matter
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay active throughout the shift
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a positive team culture
Have a flexible schedule, holydays, weekends.
Preferred (But Not Required)

Ability to troubleshoot equipment or support light maintenance
Bilingual communication skills
