Salesperson / Canvasser / Construction

FEI Enterprises is a growing construction and specialty contracting company serving Southern California, with expertise in electrical, low-voltage, fire alarm, and life-safety systems. We are seeking a motivated Construction Sales Representative who understands job sites, scopes, and how to generate business in the field.

Responsibilities

- Generate your own leads through canvassing, outreach, networking, and referrals
- Develop relationships with property owners, developers, general contractors, and property managers
- Walk job sites and identify new construction and retrofit opportunities
- Review plans and scopes to support the sales process
- Maintain an organized pipeline of leads, follow-ups, and proposals
- Coordinate with estimating and operations to ensure smooth project handoff

Requirements

- Construction industry experience required
- Proven ability in self-lead generation and canvassing
- Highly organized, disciplined, and self-motivated
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working independently in the field

Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with takeoffs and estimating
- Background in electrical, low-voltage, fire alarm, or related trades
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
