Job Description
Smart Health Dental is a national provider of dental and supplemental health insurance. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop our remote team of sales agents and drive consistent performance.
Position Overview
The Sales Manager will oversee daily operations of a remote sales team, including recruiting, coaching, performance management, and ensuring production goals are met. This role requires disciplined leadership, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build a high-performing, accountable sales culture.
Responsibilities
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage remote sales agents
• Coach agents to improve conversion, compliance, and productivity
• Monitor KPIs and implement performance-improvement strategies
• Conduct regular performance reviews and take corrective action when needed
• Refine sales processes, scripts, and workflows
• Collaborate with leadership to meet organizational sales targets
Qualifications
• 3+ years of sales management experience (insurance preferred)
• Proven success leading remote teams
• Strong coaching, communication, and performance-management skills
• KPI-driven, organized, and results-focused
• Insurance license preferred but not required
