Sommelier - Café Vivant

Café Vivant in Menlo Park, CA is hiring a daytime sommelier.

Primary responsibilities include assisting in the organization and maintenance of a world-class wine cellar comprising approximately 3,500 SKUs, as well as serving guests in our daytime tasting lounge and during the first seating of dinner service.

Preferred qualifications include a working knowledge of classic producers of France and California, prior wine service experience, and a genuine desire to deepen one’s exposure to fine wine. Required qualities are punctuality, diligence, and strong organizational skills.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a part-time sommelier role during dinner service.

Compensation: $17.55/hour + strong tip pool
Hours: 11:00am–7:30pm
