Sous Chef Position: The Boardroom & The Speakeasy
We are seeking a sous chef to lead a team of 6 cooks for our small, 45-seat fine dining
restaurant. If you thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment and have strong leadership and
culinary skills, we want to hear from you.
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years sous chef experience in a fine-dining restaurant. For the right candidate, training may be available for an entry-level sous chef position.
Ability to manage and lead a team of 6 cooks.
Strong knife skills, including butchering meat and seafood.
Ability to cost out food efficiently.
Strong attention to food detail and presentation.
Ability to maintain inventory and handle food ordering.
Excellent communication skills between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask during busy service periods.
Ability to follow current established kitchen systems and procedures.
Bilingual ability preferred but not required.
