Job Description

Sous Chef Position: The Boardroom & The Speakeasy

We are seeking a sous chef to lead a team of 6 cooks for our small, 45-seat fine dining
restaurant. If you thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment and have strong leadership and
culinary skills, we want to hear from you.

Position Requirements:
 Minimum of 3 years sous chef experience in a fine-dining restaurant. For the right candidate, training may be available for an entry-level sous chef position.
 Ability to manage and lead a team of 6 cooks.
 Strong knife skills, including butchering meat and seafood.
 Ability to cost out food efficiently.
 Strong attention to food detail and presentation.
 Ability to maintain inventory and handle food ordering.
 Excellent communication skills between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
 Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask during busy service periods.
 Ability to follow current established kitchen systems and procedures.
 Bilingual ability preferred but not required.
