Flexible Showing Host (Berkeley Apartments)

Looking for a flexible, trustworthy and dependable Showing Host to meet prospective renters for scheduled apartment showings in Berkeley. You’ll open the unit using a smart lock, conduct a quick tour, lock up, and send notes. No leasing duties—the owner handles all pricing, screening, and paperwork.
Availability
• Most appointments fall between:
o Weekdays 10–6
o Weekends 10–4
• Being able to cover last-minute appointments (same day/next day) is a plus.
Pay
• $40/hour (hourly blocks); minimum 1 hour/showing)
• Includes mileage.
What you’ll do
• Confirm appointment, arrive on time, professional greeting
• Tour the unit and keep the visit efficient
• Maintain strict boundaries (no discussion of rent/terms/screening)
• Direct all leasing questions to owner
• Secure the unit after each showing (doors locked, lights off, windows secured)
• Submit quick notes after each showing (simple form)
