Job Description

What I'm Building
Kellemen (www.kellemen.com) (instagram - Kellemen_) is a natural grooming brand for athletes. The vision is simple: become the Nike of grooming products.
Right now, I'm a bootstrapping solo-founder operation. No outside funding. No team. Just a clear product, a clear audience, and a content strategy that needs a creative partner to execute.
This role starts scrappy. If we build something that works, it grows into creative direction, campaign shoots, and a real seat at the table as we scale.

The Role
You'll own video content and direction. That means:
* Shooting long-form content (founder-led, talking head, studio and location)
* Chopping long-form into short-form clips optimized for TikTok, Reels, Shorts
* Writing hooks that stop thumbs (you understand curiosity, pain points, dream outcomes, tangible specifics, whisper technique)
* Pitching video concepts and angles—not waiting to be told what to shoot
* Staying plugged into trends without chasing them blindly
* Moving fast and testing lots of ideas (volume matters more than perfection right now)
* Using ai tools / ai content where we can to help.
* Anything else you think is beneficial to the brand and enjoy doing.

Who You Are
* 35 or younger.
* Based in or near Pasadena, CA (or willing to travel here regularly)
* Obsessed with fitness culture, you know brands like Nike, Cadence, Raw, Bandit Running and understand why they resonate in fitness culture.
* Strong eye for short-form content that performs. Short form can be a great opportunity to bring awareness to the brand, but needs volume. (systems we can repeat on a daily basis to produce content to get out into the world)
* Comfortable in startup chaos, you don't need a big production budget to make great stuff
* Motivated to build something big from the ground up.

Compensation
Long-form video: $500 per video (negotiable)
Short-form content: Base rate per video + profit share on content that performs
I want to create a structure where volume and quality both get rewarded. If a piece you create drives real revenue, you participate in that. Let's talk about what structure works for both of us. (We can set up codes to track revenue driven by pieces of content on youtube, tik-tok, etc)

Where This Goes
I'm planning to raise a small round of fundraising towards the end of the year. Product line expansion is coming. Campaign shoots, athlete partnerships, the whole thing.
This isn't a gig. It's a ground-floor opportunity to build a brand's visual identity from scratch, and grow with it.

How to Apply
1. Your portfolio or links to content you've created (or anything you have that would be cool to checkout)
2. A short note on why this role fits you
No formal resumes needed. Just show me how you think.
