optometric assistant

Our Southern Orange County office is seeking a part time optometric assistant to join our team!

We are looking for someone who displays a positive attitude, is responsible, mature, and a team player. Duties will include handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, preliminary testing before the patients see the doctor, light cleaning, etc. Willing to train someone without optometry experience if they have the right personality. Customer service experience and friendly disposition is preferred. This position will create a great opportunity of growth in the optical industry. There will be cross training in different areas of the office.

We need someone willing to work, learn, and grow. Familiarity with Crystal PM is a plus. This position would require one Saturday a month. Flexibility with schedule would be appreciated but we are looking for help mostly for our morning shift, but subject to change. Hours expected <16
