Venice Yacht Club is now hiring for full time or part time positions for Line Cook.
We are a drug free workplace and have exception benefits for all employee types. We are looking for a dedicated and dependable individual(s) that can service our membership.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with meal preparation and presentation
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Adhere to all sanitation and food safety regulations
Skills:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well as part of a team
