Job Description
Are you looking for a rare opportunity to be trained as an estate planning attorney the right way from the ground up—by a firm that values mastery, integrity, and long-term growth? Do you thrive on excellence, love structure and systems, and take pride in delivering precise, high-quality legal work?
This is a long-term career opportunity, not a short stop. The right candidate is humble, teachable, detail-oriented, and committed to becoming excellent at their craft. If you are looking for your first associate attorney role and want to be trained to confidently draft estate plans, advise clients well, and manage matters from start to finish—this may be the opportunity you’ve been praying for.
Tree of Life Law Firm is seeking a newly licensed 1st Year Associate Attorney who has recently graduated from law school and passed the California Bar, and is eager to build a strong foundation in estate planning under close mentorship and proven systems.
We are an award-winning estate planning law firm that has been serving families since 2015. Our vivid vision is to be the most trusted and caring law firm in estate planning—known for our biblical values, world-class systems, and a team that operates with unity, purpose, and care. Every process we build, every client we serve, and every team member we hire moves us closer to that vision.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
Rare Entry-Level Attorney Opportunity – Most firms won’t invest this level of time and training into a newly licensed attorney. We will.
Year-One Intensive Training & Mentorship – Your first year is focused on learning estate planning the right way: drafting, client meetings, legal analysis, and sound judgment. By the end of Year 1, you will have the knowledge and experience to independently manage basic estate planning matters with support.
Structured Learning Environment – You’ll be trained using proven SOPs, templates, checklists, and systems that remove guesswork and accelerate mastery.
Faith-Driven Team – Work alongside people who care deeply about integrity, excellence, humility, and glorifying God through their work.
Substantial Compensation Increase After Year 1 – based on your ability to independently manage your own estate planning caseload. We provide all clients and leads; there is no expectation for you to bring in business.
Performance-Based Bonuses – Earn bonuses as you grow in skill, responsibility, and independence.
Top-Tier Benefits – We cover 90% of medical, dental, and vision premiums for you and your dependents.
True Work-Life Balance – No nights, no weekends. Two full weeks off for Christmas, one full week off for July 4th, major federal holidays, plus paid personal and sick days.
