We’re a laid-back Asian Fusion restaurant in Monterey looking for a solid Prep Cook to join our back-of-house crew. If you like staying busy, working with food, and being part of a small team that keeps things moving, this might be a great fit for you.

Pay:
• $20/hour+tips to start

Hours:
• 25+ hours/week
• Must be available Thursday & Saturday mornings
• Flexibility needed for Monday, Friday, and Sunday
• OFF Tuesdays & Wednesdays (yes, every week )

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Chopping and prepping vegetables
• Making rice (using rice cookers)
• Building poke bowls in an assembly-line setup
• Learning our menu and kitchen flow
• Cleaning, sweeping, and mopping
• Taking out trash and helping keep the kitchen running smoothly

What We’re Looking For:
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
• Able to stand and stay active during shifts
• Kitchen/prep experience is mandatory.
