Prime Medical Transport LLC is currently seeking experienced Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) drivers to join our growing team. We are looking for reliable, professional drivers who are confident in wheelchair securement and patient care.
Position: NEMT Driver
Requirements:
Proven experience as an NEMT or medical transport driver
Must know proper wheelchair securement (required)
Valid California Driver’s License (clean driving record)
Ability to assist patients safely and professionally
Strong communication and customer service skills
Punctual, dependable, and professional appearance
Must be able to pass background check & drug screening
Preferred (Not Required):
Experience with ambulatory or gurney transports
CPR / First Aid certification
Knowledge of local Fresno County routes
Responsibilities:
Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments
Properly secure wheelchairs and assist patients as needed
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards
Complete trip documentation accurately
Provide respectful and compassionate service at all times
