Prep Cook / Kitchen Assistant —

Chez Adele is hiring a HARD-WORKING, reliable, and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our growing team.

📍 Location: Chez Adele — Chicago
🕒 Business Hours: Mondays–Sundays, 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM


Prep Cook Schedule:

● Must arrive 1–2 hours before opening and stay until closing


📆 Work Schedule Requirement

● 6 days per week

● Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are MANDATORY (Non-negotiable)


🧾 Responsibilities

● Assist Head Chef during service

● Food prepping & portioning

● Maintain food inventory & organization

● Clean and maintain kitchen equipment

● Properly clean grill & fryers

● Follow food safety and sanitation standards

● Maintain a clean, professional work environment

● Support kitchen operations as needed

✅ Requirements

● Must speak and read English

● Must be reliable, punctual, and consistent

● Strong attention to detail

● Experience in a professional kitchen preferred

● Knowledge of food safety and hygiene

● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

● Must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team

● References will be checked
