Early Morning Baker - Full Time

The Village Bakery and Cafe is in search of an experienced, detail oriented baker to join our team. This is a full time position and requires some weekend work. Hours will be 6am-2pm and you will be expected to work 4 to 5 shifts per week.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Mid-level experience (at least one year in a professional setting)
Early morning and weekend availability
Ability to follow recipes accurately
Strong work ethic
Reliable and punctual
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently
* Must be a team player and get along well with others!

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION will be given to those with either lamination or cake decorating experience (if you have both, you can start yesterday!)

Your basic daily duties will include morning baking (muffins, scones, coffee cakes etc) to ensure that the bakery case is full for our daily opening. You will then be responsible for production baking (batters, doughs, cakes, bars, etc). Dough lamination, cake or cookie decoration, is all needed and, depending on your level of experience, you may be asked to jump in and help when necessary.
