Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned Finance Director with a strong strategic mindset to lead all financial oversight, governance, and performance management for our U.S. based organization. This role is central to maintaining financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness, while advancing the finance organization into a high-impact, value-driven business partner. Reporting to Senior Management, the Finance Director will provide both strategic guidance and hands-on leadership across financial planning, controlling, accounting, and treasury activities, ensuring the organization operates with discipline, transparency, and foresight.
Strategic Business Partnership
•Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, delivering clear financial insights, analysis, and actionable recommendations.
Support the formulation and execution of the U.S. entity’s long-term business strategy.
•Identify and drive cost optimization and efficiency initiatives.
•Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with business leaders and monitor performance against plan.
•Own financial forecasting and planning cycles to support informed decision-making.
Financial Control & Regulatory Compliance
•Direct all financial controlling activities to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory standards.
•Design, implement, and maintain strong internal control frameworks aligned with global and local requirements.
•Establish and enforce financial policies and governance structures to mitigate financial and operational risk.
•Ensure continuous audit readiness and successful completion of internal and external audits.
•Collaborate with corporate finance to align local practices with group reporting and compliance standards.
Accounting & Financial Reporting
•Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring integrity and completeness of financial records.
•Prepare and submit financial statements, performance analyses, and reporting packages to the group within required timelines.
•Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
•Monitor cash flows and ensure effective internal financial controls.
•Track changes in accounting standards and legislation and assess their impact on financial reporting.
•Maintain comprehensive documentation to support transparency and audit requirements.
Treasury & Cash Management
•Lead cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and working capital optimization.
•Manage banking relationships and treasury operations.
•Monitor foreign exchange exposure, credit risk, and payment processes.
•Ensure compliance with group treasury policies and applicable U.S. regulations.
Audit & Risk Management
•Oversee statutory audits and the certification of annual financial statements by external auditors.
•Coordinate audit activities to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant submissions.
•Proactively identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and implement mitigation strategies.
•Continuously enhance control environments to strengthen financial resilience.
Finance Function Development
•Advance the finance organization toward a mature, insight-driven business partnering model.
•Develop financial dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to support data-driven leadership decisions.
•Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
