Support Staff Needed

Skyway House Substance Use Disorder Services is seeking individuals interested in providing support to the clients in our residential treatment facility. Position may be part or full time, swing-shift and weekends required. See full job description below.

JOB DESCRIPTION



SUPPORT STAFF



The support staff is responsible for maintaining the operations of the house.



Qualifications:



Must Possess an understanding of addiction. The ability to work independently as well as on a treatment team. Ability to keep clear and legible records and charts. Have the ability to work and communicate effectively. Maintain current CPR, First Aid and TB clearance.



Responsibilities:



Make rounds every 30 minutes

Check house for maintenance needs

Conduct random and scheduled drug tests

Drop off and pick up client medications at pharmacy

Make sure all medications are logged in client file, OTC also

Conduct searches of the new client belongings

Do legal paperwork when new client enters treatment

Check phone messages every hour

Facilitate social support groups at 3pm and 7pm

Assist clients with meal preparation

Make medications available at 4pm and 8pm for clients who need them.

Clear house at 10pm

Be available to clients to need help or have questions or just need to talk.

Clean offices.

Filing

Keep accurate and up to date logs

Provide kind and loving atmosphere for clients where they feel safe and secure

Enforce house rules
